I am a historian and an archivist. I finished my study (at the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin, Poland) in 2000, then I began the doctor’s studies. I did a Ph.D. degree in 2005. My thesis was entitled Pax in religion and ideology of the early Roman empire (27 B.C. – 180 A.D.) and was written under the tutorship of prof. Lesław Morawiecki and prof. Leszek Mrozewicz. At present I have been working at the Dep. of Ancient History. I concentrate my research on such topics as ideology and religion of Roman republic and Roman empire, numismatics, epigraphy, and on the history of emotions in the ancient world. I am also a tutor of the Student Association of Epigraphy, and along with my students I organize scientific camps, collect inscriptions in order to publish them. A little bit withdrawn and immersed in his own world and thoughts young man. Dared self-taught computer engineer. He had undertaken creating the Eridanos as a challenge. He likes reading fantasy and s-f books, especially ones that deal with problems of power, mankind, and the world. As far as films are concerned he enjoys Japanese anime, like "Ghost in the shell", "Ergo Proxy", "Blood+". He likes hard sounds, but also sometimes listens to sleepy compositions (ambient), or classical music. In search of alternative system he had come across FreeBSD (on which he's been creating the database), that he's using along with Windows.
